At Kim Grant Tennis Camp, we offer more than just world class tennis training. We offer a transformative summer experience rooted in connection, growth, and passion. Our goal is simple: to help every camper leave stronger, more confident, and more in love with the game than when they arrived.
Our camp is proudly led by Kim Grant, a former Grand Slam professional with 18 years of experience on the WTA tour. Her global career and victories over top 10 players bring unmatched insight and inspiration to every aspect of the camp. But what truly sets us apart is Kim’s personal investment in each camper’s development, both on and off the court.
I have been taking lessons at Kim Grant Tennis Academy for nearly ten years. I can’t thank Kim and her coaches enough for bringing me so much joy over the years. Not only in learning how to maneuver a little yellow ball, but also in the pride and satisfaction of continuous improvement.
I started tennis late in my life. Unlike other coaches I had, Kim did not focus on fast-tracking me to play “club” tennis. Instead, she insisted I develop the right form to avoid injury, improve balance and enhance coordination. She listens to my input, adapts her coaching style to my needs, yet never ceases to make my lessons challenging.
Kim’s dedication to her students extends beyond the court. She responds late into the night to last minute scheduling requests. When I came into her court, she made sure the departing young students gave me (the adult) a proper greeting. When necessary, she travelled on her own time and expense to help students in critical tournaments. Kim is not only a great coach but an educator who leads with her heart.

Our days are filled with high performance training, guided by expert coaches who are all certified, background checked, and trained in the Kim Grant Method. But the fun doesn’t end when the sessions do — evenings come alive with beach workouts, bonfires, kayaking, movie nights, and other memorable activities that build friendships and lifelong memories.
We believe that tennis is for everyone, and that belief drives our inclusive approach. Whether your child is picking up a racquet for the first time or chasing a national ranking, they’ll find a place where they belong. We also proudly welcome students with disabilities and special needs, providing a supportive environment that champions every player.
Safety is at the heart of everything we do. We follow USTA Safe Play policies and ensure that all staff are CPR certified by the American Red Cross. From structured check in and supervision protocols to constant on site support, parents can feel confident knowing their children are in caring, qualified hands.
Nestled in coastal Monterey Bay, our location offers the perfect escape from summer heat. Cool ocean breezes and scenic surroundings create an environment that helps campers stay focused, refreshed, and inspired throughout the week.
