KIM GRANT

Kim Grant is a former WTA professional with 18 years on the pro tour, having competed in all four Grand Slam events and achieved a career high world ranking of number 70. Known for her sharp match strategies and technical expertise, Kim has earned victories over Top 10 players like Jennifer Capriati and represented South Africa in global tournaments including the Federation Cup and African Games.

Throughout her career, Kim has coached elite players such as Kristina Brandi (ranked number 27) and helped develop nationally ranked juniors in the United States, United Kingdom, and South Africa. She is a certified instructor in six countries and the founder of the Kim Grant Method — a unique and effective approach to player development that blends classical technique with modern biomechanics.

Kim launched her Monterey based sleepaway camp to bring her passion for coaching into a setting that inspires growth, independence, and joy. Here, she combines world class instruction with a fun, community driven summer experience. Whether you are just starting out or training at a high level, Kim’s leadership ensures that every camper is supported, challenged, and truly seen.
